The area covered by this research, Castel di Guido, despite being located a short distance from Rome still represents very important environmental and ecological characteristics. Field surveys, aimed at studying the local terrestrial and freshwater malacofauna (Mollusca: Gastropoda, Bivalvia), were carried out from January 2019 to February 2021. 35 species belonging to 18 families were identified. Although there are no particularly rare or threatened species, the 35 species identified in the investigated area demonstrate a satisfactory malacological variety in relation to the not particularly extensive surface of the investigated area.
