A review on the presence of the brown rat Rattus norvegicus Berkenhout, 1769 and the black rat Rattus rattus Linnaeus, 1758 in the Northern Sporades islands is provided in this article. Furthermore, the presence of R. rattus on the islet of Aspronissos and R. norvegicus on the islet of Tsougrias is reported for the first time.
