The Municipality of Medulin covers the area of 29.35 km² and is located in a bay on the southern end of the Istrian peninsula. In this paper, after having briefly reviewed the geographic characteristics, flora and vegetation of the Medulin’s territory, the author, using his own research, the reports by other researchers and information from literature and web, lists the entire orchid taxa concerned. Overall, there are 36 entities at the specific and subspecific rank (44% of whole Istrian orchid flora), and 15 infraspecifc hybrids in addition. The chorological analysis shows the prevalence of the Mediterranean contingent, followed by the Eurasian, European, Endemic and MediterraneanAtlantic. The essay concludes with some taxonomic considerations on critical taxa.
