Some problems related to the taxonomy of a group of Neotropical Chrysomelinae Doryphorina genera are briefly highlighted and three new species of Leptinotarsa from Mexico [(L. dellacasai n. sp. (Estado Durango), L. gilberti n. sp. (Estado Durango), L. mariachia n. sp. (Estado Jalisco)] are described.
