The first catalogue of the Hymenoptera collected in the Parco del Ticino and its surroundings, in both Lombardy and Piedmont administrative Regions, is given. The checklist is based on specimens housed in museums and private collections and on bibliographical data. The total number of recorded species is 791. The actual number of Hymenoptera species occurring in the Park is still far from being known, since some of the most important families, such as Ichneumonidae and Braconidae, were not taken into consideration because of lack of published records and of collection materials with reliable identifications. In the present paper one species for Italy, 125 species and subspecies for Lombardy and 25 for Piedmont are recorded for the first time.
