Three new species from Irian Jaya and Australia are described and illustrated: Pachycorynus yamoensis sp.n. (Irian Jaya), Eachamia cooksoni sp.n. (Northern Territory) and Enervia meridionalis sp.n. (Victoria). Thyreocephalus cyanopterus (Erichson, 1839) is new record for Northern Territory, T. chloropterus (Erichson, 1839) is new record for New Zealand and T. cyanopterus (Erichson, 1839) is new record for Northern Territory.
